About this policy
This policy explains how the Mauv iPhone beta handles your information. Contact info@rrtechsolutions.xyz with privacy questions or requests. The current beta has no Mauv account or remote profile backup. A local athlete profile is used to personalise training.
Information on your device
Mauv stores your athlete profile, preferences, saved workouts, training plans, imported run summaries and coaching results on your device. Your profile can include training goals, experience, available days, weekly distance, paces and maximum heart rate. Local workout parsing does not upload your descriptions.
With your separate Apple Health permission, Mauv reads running workouts and related metrics to show your history and optionally prefill training information. It can display heart-rate samples, elevation and recorded routes locally. Sending a workout to your paired Apple Watch uses Apple's WorkoutKit.
Optional AI features
Before the first AI request, Mauv asks you to agree to sharing training information and any included Health-derived data. Agreeing enables AI workout creation, image import, training-plan creation and run coaching. These features send relevant information over HTTPS to Mauv's backend hosted by Vercel. The backend uses OpenAI models through Vercel AI Gateway to process the request and return a result.
Workout and plan requests can include your entered descriptions, selected images or screenshots, training goals, experience, availability, distance and pace preferences, weekly distance, paces and heart-rate targets. Only images you choose are uploaded; Mauv does not upload your photo library. Avoid entering or selecting unrelated personal information.
Run coaching can include a completed run's date, duration, distance, pace, average and maximum heart rate, elevation gain, your feel rating, the associated planned workout, your athlete profile and summaries of up to 20 recent runs. GPS route points and raw heart-rate sample series are not sent in coaching requests.
This information is used to provide the feature you requested. Mauv does not sell your training data or use it for advertising. AI sharing permission is separate from Apple Health permission. Declining AI sharing leaves saved workouts, local editing, history and Watch sync available, but AI features cannot run.
Optional beta launch reward signup
If you choose Claim 6 months free, Mauv asks for your email and agreement to store it and contact you about the reward. The signup is sent over HTTPS through our Vercel backend to a private Supabase database. We store the email, a random app-installation claim identifier, signup date and accepted signup terms version. No training profile or Health information is included in this signup, and it is not sent to an AI model.
We use these records to reserve one launch reward per email for the first 1,000 signups, prevent duplicates and contact you with redemption instructions. Signup does not create an account, verify email ownership or begin paid access. Six months of Mauv Pro starts at App Store release; email ownership will be verified before access is granted. Reward signup is separate from AI sharing permission and does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
A confirmation is also stored on your device. Removing the app does not delete the server signup. We keep signup records while administering the launch reward and plan to remove them within 90 days after the promotion and its six-month access periods have ended, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. Email info@rrtechsolutions.xyz to request access, correction, withdrawal or deletion. Withdrawing the signup also withdraws the associated reward reservation.
Service providers and international processing
Vercel provides the backend hosting and AI Gateway, and OpenAI processes AI inputs. Requests can be processed outside your country. Provider privacy and data-processing terms apply to their processing. OpenAI API data is not used to train models by default. This is not a promise of zero retention.
Supabase stores optional beta launch reward signup records on our behalf. The reward email is processed through our Vercel backend. Providers may process information outside your country under their privacy and data-processing terms.
RevenueCat and Apple provide subscription and entitlement infrastructure. RevenueCat can process an app-specific identifier, purchase and entitlement information, and device or app information needed for that service. Apple handles payment information. Mauv does not receive your full payment-card details.
Apple operates TestFlight and may provide beta feedback, installation and crash information under its TestFlight terms. If you send feedback or email us, we receive the content and contact information you choose to share.
Retention
Local information remains until you delete it, remove the app, or your device or backup settings remove it. Mauv's current backend has no account, profile or training-history database and processes submitted content to return results. This does not mean that every provider immediately deletes all information.
Hosting and AI providers may keep security, abuse-prevention, request metadata or operational records under their service policies. OpenAI generally retains API abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days, with exceptions described in its data controls. Retention can depend on the service and account configuration. Mauv does not intentionally log submitted training content in its production API errors.
Support correspondence is kept while needed to handle your request and related follow-up, or to meet legal obligations. We can explain the records relevant to a privacy request when you contact us.
Your choices and deletion
In Mauv, open Profile, then Settings, then Privacy to turn off AI data sharing. This stops future AI requests. It does not recall requests already sent or delete records held by providers. You can read this policy in Settings without sharing any training data.
Change Health permissions in Apple Health or iOS Settings. Delete saved workouts and plans using Mauv's controls, or remove the app to clear its local container. Removing Mauv does not delete the original workouts in Apple Health or copies in device backups. Manage those separately through Apple Health and your backup settings.
Email info@rrtechsolutions.xyz to ask about access, correction or deletion of information we hold, or to raise a concern. You may have additional rights under local law, including a right to complain to your data-protection authority. Do not send your entire Health history to identify a request; we will ask only for information necessary to help.
Changes
We update this policy when Mauv processing changes. Accounts and remote profile backup have not been introduced. If we introduce them, we will explain their data handling and update the relevant choices before use. Material changes to AI recipients or shared information require renewed in-app consent.
